ESSAY:
CREATING A WEIGHT
In this assignment , we were asked to create a handmade weight. I struggled during spring break thinking about making one especially while I was busy with other assignments from other periods as well. Eventually, I ended up thinking of creating a weight that was so simple, yet beneficial in working out.
I decided to grab an empty water bottle, some dirt from my tiny garden on the side of my house , and a bit of water. I inserted the dirt into the bottle and added a bit of water for extra weight . From there, I created a weight. It was simple, but I thought of ways it could actually be very beneficial to excercise.
Since the bottle was easy to grab,I thought this would be used well as a dumbell. The bottle is obviously very light, so this would mean you could be open to limiting yourself lessand challenge yourself with an amount higher of count in excercises. You could do sit-ups,lifting,squats,lateral raises,and even lunges.These excercises can help benefit your strength,muscular endurance,and heart health as well.
More benefits that also help with your health by excercise would be how good you will feel about yourself and keeping yourself active and healthy. The importance of excercise is alot because of how risky it would be if we did not do any form of physical activity and ate unhealthy too.We would be open to many health risks and struggle to find confidence about ourselves. I believe it is always important to have an activity to enjoy,even if it is something at home.Overall,staying active with an activity and finding the importance to be fit/healthy is good.
